Savills (Hong Kong) is pleased to announce the appointment of Agnes Chu as the Legal & Compliance Director for the Agency Group and Savills Services Group in Hong Kong (“Savills Hong Kong”), effective August 15, 2024.
Agnes will be leading the Compliance team, overseeing legal document reviews, and managing various legal matters, including issues, disputes, and litigation. She will manage all the potential and actual litigation which may arise. Furthermore, Agnes will play a crucial role in providing updates on any group policies & compliance training, drafting new company policies based on changing global laws & regulations and offering guidance on new business engagements. Agnes will report to Susanna Poon for all legal and compliance matters.
Prior to joining our team, Agnes served as the Senior Legal Counsel at Veolia, Asia, where she was responsible for advising and supporting the company’s group M&A, reviewing the groups’ personal data privacy, and providing guidance to the business. With over 21 years of experience in the legal field, working at Fred Kan & Co, Stevenson, Wong & Co, and Tsang, Chan & Wong, Agnes possesses extensive knowledge in commercial and corporate practice. We have complete confidence in her ability to bring substantial value to Savills and support our business operations.
